General Information for 2012
All of the information below applies to the 2011 race. We will be updating it for 2012 early in the new year. We encourage you to come back and checkout the site then.

General Information
If you want an alternate to traditional 5K and 10K road races, we suggest you give our trail runs a go. No fear of cars and hard surfaces. Instead experience the joy of running along trail runs with abundant local bush and soft running surfaces. With lots of gentle rolling hills and plenty of direction changes, we know you will have a great experience. Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 11 and take advantage of our easy to use online registration where you can register 24 hours a day and save around $5 on the traditional mail-in registration.

Fees
Both events: 3K & 6K
Online registration¹ $15.00²
Mail-in registration¹ $20.00 ³
Kids 13 and under $10.00 ($7.00 if you use online registration) both events⁴
Race day registrations from 6:00am to 7:30am only - $25 everyone

³Mail-in forms must be received by Thursday September 8 - no exceptions, no excuses
⁴No shirts.
Walk-in registrations occur on Friday September 9 at the school from 9:00am until 5:00pm - no shirts

Awards

The following awards apply to both the 6K and the 3K and for both genders

There are prizes for the top two finishers outright and for the top three finishers in the following age divisions:
Under 12
12 - 17
18 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60+

You can only receive one award.

School Teams Competitions & Awards

This will be the inaugural year of the 'Bush Wac School Championships'. There will be a Primary and a Secondary Champion School Shield.

T&C's: Primary Run 3k. Secondary Run 6K. Minimum of 10 runners per team entry. Schools may enter multiple teams in Primary and/or Secondary Runs.

There are prizes for the top two finishers outright and for the top three finishers per age group. All school runners are eligible for Individual Prizes and for the Freebies and Barrel Draw. Click here for more information!

Freebies and Barrel Draw

Neveral Springs are donating 350 bottles of water and 250 plastic drink bottles to go in the goodies bags for the kids. There will be a giant barrel draw being held at the awards presentation. This is ONLY for registered runners and every entrant gets one ticket in the draw. Runners must be there to receive a prize and only one prize per runner. Amongst the prizes will be bikes, Contours gym bags, Athletes Foot sports packs, cricket packs and much more....

Entry
2012 registration is not open, please return early in 2012.

Scoring & Timing
All events will be professionally timed and awards will be posted and presented at the school after 10:00am. Full results will be posted online at this website within 24 hours.

Fri. Sept. 9: Walk-in registrations at the WAC school only (9:00am - 5:00pm)
Sat. Sept. 10: Race day registration from 6:00am - 7:30 only
Sat. Sept. 10: 8:30 a.m. both races start
Sat. Sept. 10: 10:00 a.m. award ceremony
